Our Botanicals Collection of organic inspired ceramics feature highly-detailed, carved porcelain vases. These modern, sculpted vases are first formed on a potter's wheel and designed by surrounding the vase with elegantly carved leaf forms.

Available in three glaze and finish choices, all highlighting the white porcelain, just right for any environment and designed to be an ideal gift. They fit perfectly in both modern and traditional settings. They are small, uniquely feminine and modestly priced. Clearly, good things do come in small packages! 

These high-fired porcelain vases are available in a choice of three glazes and finishes:

• Clear Gloss glaze over a Chartreuse shadow glaze. Mostly white gloss in appearance, the color is applied only to the deeply carved crevices of the carvings. This effect highlights the details of the elegant carvings while showcasing the natural, pure white color of the porcelain.

• White Matte glaze overall, pure and simple showcasing a clean, modern look.

• Porcelain Bisque finished (unglazed). The elegance of the totally vitrified bright white natural color of the porcelain clay is showcased. The relief details of the carvings stand out in this understated effect.

These modern, organic inspired, sculpted vases are first formed on a potter's wheel and designed by surrounding the vase with leafy plant inspired patterns carved deeply into the clay.

Our Intertwining-Leaf Hand-Carved Bud-Vase is small and elegantly carved showing the relief of leafy carvings flowing all around the vase with it's vines intersecting and intertwining around each other.

Susanne designed this collection to be an ideal gift. They are small, uniquely feminine making them a special gift. Clearly, good things do come in small packages!

Our Ring-Leaf Carved Botanical Bud-Vase is deeply and elegantly carved showing the relief of leafy carvings that go beyond the surface and are exaggerated in places just like real leaves are. The design features highly detailed, carved and shaped leaf forms flowing all around the vase and connecting at the collar of the top or ring.

Modern Mid-Century Inspired Ceramics:
Hand-made by the artist, Susanne designs each collection starting out on a potter’s wheel. She sculpts and alters the shapes to be asymmetrical, as a purposeful twist on the modern aesthetic.

This elegant Wide-Bottom Modern Vase, is made of high-fired stoneware with an original off-white/greyish peppery-textured dry matte glaze. This unique effect is created by layering a smooth white glaze over a darker textured clay body. The hand-painted ribbon surrounding the vase adds a unique textural effect. The possibilities are endless with these organic but very modern, white themed vases, they seem to go with well….everything!

Price ranges from $135.00 - $145.00 ( & slightly higher for Lava glazes)

DETAILS & CARE:

• Care: Our elegant shaped vases can be toppled over and are breakable, so we suggest using a little dab of “Clear QuakeHold Gel” (for glass and crystal) to secure the bottom of the vase to your shelf or table. Especially if you live in earthquake country (like we do) or if you have small children. This gel is our favorite because it is easily removable and leaves no residue. (www.quakehold.com)

White Matte Textured Vase Grouping

We grouped these 3 elegant vases together to form a modern triad profile in muted tones and textures of white.

For the minimalist, a single piece may be just enough to make that statement. And for maximalists who think in pairings and multiples, we've paired this collection in a mix of eclectic shapes, tones and layered textures.

2. A textured ribbon surrounding the creamy, satin-matte surface of our White Tall-Lipped Vase
3. For the purist, an all-over elegant white, satin matte glaze on our White Stem-Neck Vase

Susanne is selective with her modern glaze color palette. These white toned vases fit perfectly in any room.
