Moss Pebble-Textured Stem Vase

A unique mix of layered textures showcase this unique "pebble" glaze in a very modern, mid-century inspired vase

Hand-made by the artist, Susanne designs each collection starting out on a potter’s wheel. She sculpts and alters the shapes to be asymmetrical, as a purposeful twist on the modern aesthetic. 

Our Moss Pebble-Textured Modern Stem Vase, features a variation
of layered textures combined with warm, muted colors in moss green, sable brown and classic black. As a happy accident, this combination of glaze and clay formed into rounded “beads” after high-firing which looks a bit like a pebble texture. Taking inspiration from organic textures like pebbles and tree bark, Susanne spent 6 months perfecting this accident, but is always a little surprised as every piece turns out slightly different, which is the beauty of ceramics!

DETAILS & CARE:

• Size: 9.5” h x 5” w 

• Weight: 14 oz.

• Care: This elegant and irregular shaped vase can be toppled over and is breakable, so we suggest using a little dab of “Clear QuakeHold Gel” (for glass and crystal) to secure the bottom of the vase to your shelf or table. Especially if you live in earthquake country (like we do) or if you have small children. This gel is our favorite because it is easily removable and leaves no residue. (www.quakehold.com) 

Stoneware is almost indestructible and if you don’t drop it, it will still be around a thousand years from now! But it is breakable, so treat it kindly.
