Our Small, Swirl Vase is hand-carved and part of our Botanicals Collection:

The ZAN Ceramics Botanical Collection feature highly-detailed, carved vases. These modern, organic inspired, sculpted vases are first formed on a potter's wheel and designed by surrounding the vase with a swirling pattern carved deeply into the clay.

Our Swirl Vase is adorable, diminutive and deeply carved. The design features detailed, carved swirl designs flowing all around the vase. Available in several glaze and finish choices.

Susanne designed this collection to be an ideal gift.  They are small and special, making them an ideal gift. Display a set of several of these multi-colored gems. Clearly, good things do come in small packages!

These high-fired white stoneware vases are available in a choice of glazes and finishes.

• Mostly white in appearance with a clear glossy glaze over a colored shadow glaze, which is applied only to the deeply carved crevices of the carvings. This effect highlights the details of the elegant carvings while showcasing the natural, pure white color of the clay.
  
  
• White gloss glaze overall, pure and simple showcasing a clean, modern effect.

• Porcelain Bisque finish (unglazed) the elegance of the totally vitrified bright white natural color of the clay is showcased. The relief details of the carvings stand out in this understated effect with a variety of colored underglazes applied to the deep crevices of the carvings.

High-fired porcelain and stoneware is almost indestructible and if you don’t drop it, it will still be around a thousand years from now! But it is breakable, so treat it kindly.
